An airline or a booking site wants the sale today. “Three weeks later is $120 cheaper” is a sentence that postpones their revenue, so the search box shows you the price for the date you typed and stays quiet about whether that date is an expensive one. Comparing a date against the rest of its month is the part nobody selling the ticket has a reason to build.
What we measure, and what we don't
We record the cheapest one-way fare observed for each departure date, along with the date that fare was found, and we keep the history. We do not quote live prices, hold seats, or know what you will be charged at checkout — the fare you see on the airline's page today may differ. We also do not compare return fares, because a return price depends on the return date and that makes outbound dates impossible to rank against each other.
Fares last collected 2026-08-04. Coverage varies by route: where we have fewer than five dates for a month, the result says so instead of averaging two numbers and calling it a trend.
